An Exploration on Modern Farmhouse
An exercise on modern farmhouse for a developer in Houston, Texas. This 9,000 square feet residential project was a template for multiple development sites.
It began with a sketch of a floor plan – formalizing a layout based on real-estate dimensions. Locking in square footages typical for housing units in Houston, while simultaneously working in tandem with the 3D model, produced elevations that resulted in the final form for the house.
A luxury twist on modern farmhouse, the goal was to maximize the interior space while maintaining the integrity of the exterior look & feel.
